Head Coach: Marco Spisso

Growing up, Marco played his AAA hockey with the Red Bank Generals and then spent two years at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, ME. In two seasons with the Wolverines, Marco played in 105 games and served as team Captain in his second season.

After Bridgton, Marco attended Nazareth College and play four years of DIII College hockey for the Golden Flyers. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in English, Marco went to work for his alma mater Bridgton Academy as an Assistant Coach, Dorm Parent, and Teacher.

His time at Bridgton Academy, he trained and mentored both the Prep & Junior teams, running two practices each day as well as off ice and video. Coach Marco coached a total of 72 Prep & Junior games at in the 2016-2017 season alone. Along with practice and bench coaching, Coach Spisso ran all the video sessions as well as 1:1 on-ice player development. In 2016, Coach Spisso worked along side Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL) Head Coach Geordie Kinnear’s staff for the Florida Panthers NHL Development Camp.

Marco’s personal experience and knowledge of the sport, ability to teach the game, develop individual and collective skill sets, plus execute high-intensity and up-tempo practice, make him a perfect bench boss for all age groups.
